Brief Introduction of Hot Rolling Rebar
As far as the toughness is concerned, the hot rolling rebar can be classified into following types.

I-grade
The I-grade hot rolling rebar is a kind of plain round bar made of the killed steel, semi-killed steel, rimmed steel and NO.3 ordinary carbon steel. It features low toughness at the level of 24/38 kg, sound plasticity, high elongation with the δ5 over 25%, easy bending and welding, etc. It can bear most weight in the medium or small-sized reinforced concrete structures.

II-grade
The II-grade hot rolling rebar is made of low-alloy killed or semi-killed steel with the silicon and manganese as the solid solution strengthening elements. It is characterized by high toughness with bearing capacity reaching 34(32) or 52(50) kg, exceptional plasticity, and ideal welding performance. When used in the reinforced concrete structure, it can help save steel material by 40% to 50%.

III-grade
The III-grade hot rolling rebar has similar performances with the II-grade type, while its toughness is at the level of 38/58 kg. And it is also labeled as HRB400 rebar in that they belong to plain low alloy hot rolling rebar products, have threads and can be used in the reinforced concrete structure.

IV-grade
The IV-grade hot rolling rebar is made of low-alloy carbon killed steel with the toughness being at the level of 55/85 kg. In addition to the silicon and manganese, vanadium or titanium is also adopted as the solid solution strengthening and precipitation element, thus improving not only the toughness but also the plasticity and rigidity. The surface of the IV-grade hot rolling rebar is also rolled with longitudinal bars and transverse ribs. This type of rebar is taken as the pre-stressing tendon in construction engineering with the diameter up to 12mm. Before being put into use, it should be cold drawn with the drawing stress being 750MPA so as to increase the yield point for the purpose of saving steel materials.

Finished Deformed Bar
The finished deformed bar is developed to solve the anchorage and connection problems encountered by the pre-stressed reinforcement with the big diameter and high toughness. Its surface is rolled with the trapezoid screw buckles, and it can be prolonged with the help of connecting sleeves. It has been widely applied in large reinforced concrete structure.
